Due to a variety of factors, we have decided to cancel our CityLight Basketball league for the 2020-2021 season.
Though we have seen and continue to see the tremendous value in hosting CityLight Sports, we know that there are significant challenges to safely carrying out an indoor basketball league during the COVID-19 pandemic. Two of our values in CityLight are to partner with parents, and to be safe and welcoming to all. We feel that the safety measures we would need to take, i.e. requiring masks and limiting families to one fan per child to allow for social distancing, would hinder our ability to carry out this vision.
For those of you who have faithfully served with CityLight Basketball over the years, we are so thankful for your effort in making our league excellent in serving families and for being a part of the Gospel going out through sports.
