Barna Group has continued to study the religious landscape of the United States. Two studies have been particularly helpful – The Most/Least Bible Minded Cities and the Most/Least Post-Christian Cities. The results of the two studies are below.
Eight of the top 10 most Post-Christian cities are in the North East, five being in New England.
In 2015 Barna did a study on “Bible Minded Cities” Providence ranked dead last. Since, Barna did the same study in 2017 in which Providence was ranked third to last (there was no image for that study).
