Walnut Creek Downtown Building Project
Welcome to our building project blueprint! Here you can find the most recent updates.
About
The Walnut Creek Downtown church plant started in 2007 with a handful of people, and a rented restaurant space. We moved around to many different spaces in downtown Des Moines, but in 2010, God provided our current building.
Now we’ve come to another crossroads, and have a growing need for sufficient meeting space for ministries, and parking for our guests and members. The East Village is a wonderful place to be; however, it also comes with unique challenges. Being limited by space gives us the options to either purchase a nearby building, or find innovative ways to maximize our current space.
We’ve assembled a building committee to research and brainstorm concepts, products, and give feedback on potential design decisions. The downtown pastoral team collaborates with this committee to make the best decisions about purchasing a building and renovating our current space.
This page is dedicated to keeping you up to date on the WCD building project.
